Volleyball Legends Patch Diff
Every Volleyball Legends guide replays the same patch notes. This page does the opposite: it extracts only what changed numerically between consecutive updates so old players can quickly answer “what is actually different about the game this week?” Each section is a before/after table — what the value was, what it is now, and what that delta means in practice.
Data is community-tracked from patch notes and pity-math posts. Treat hard percentages as directionally correct unless confirmed in Discord.
Season 14 and the Easter Season replaced Tournament Week as the headline layer. The big losses were Encho leaving forever and the Challenger grind disappearing from center stage.
| Field | Before | After | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current ranked season | Season 13 (U61) | Season 14 (U65) | ELO reset — ladder climb restarts for everyone |
| Encho obtainability | Obtainable (Evo banner, 0.25% on Lucky Spins) | Permanently unobtainable | Evo pity track goes dormant until next Evo banner |
| Active code pool | UPDATE_64 / TOURNAMENTS / CHALLENGER | UPDATE_65 / SEASON_14 / EASTER_UPDATE + prior U64 codes | 6 active codes — the largest live pool in months |
| Event layer | Tournament Week rotation | Easter Season egg grind + Season 14 banners | Shifts player attention from tournaments to event cosmetics and seasonal rewards |
| Public teaser for next patch | No next-week mode publicly teased | Chaos mode announced for the following week | Signals another mode-focused Saturday update is queued immediately after U65 |
| Balance note | No headline defensive buff | Kisuki dive hitbox buffed | Libero/defense players got a quieter but real reliability bump |
The pity-math patch. U64 halved Secret and Evo pity thresholds during its 2x Luck window and doubled the underlying rates.
| Field | Before | After | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Secret pity (2x event) | 200 spins | 100 spins | 50% fewer spins to hard-pity a Secret |
| Secret base rate (2x event) | 0.5% | 1.0% | 2× baseline — effectively 4× cheaper vs a cold baseline spin |
| Evo pity (2x event) | 400 spins | 200 spins | Only event where Encho hard-pity was reachable with a normal stack |
| Evo base rate (2x event) | 0.25% | 0.5% | 2× baseline Evo rate |
| Free spin handout | None | 12 Lucky spins over a 2-hour window | One-time seed stack tied to the Tournament Week launch |
| Currency system | Gems + Lucky Spins only | + Challenger Tokens | New currency with dedicated Tournament Shop |
| Returning limited | Encho banner | Twins return window | Back-to-back limiteds — heavy spin pressure for completionists |
The rarity-ceiling patch. U63 introduced the Evo tier above Secret, fundamentally changing what 'top rarity' means.
| Field | Before | After | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top rarity tier | Secret + Ultra | Evo (above Secret) | Adds a new ceiling — Evo runs on its own pity counter |
| Evo rarity drop rate | — | ~0.25% on Lucky Spins, ~0.005% on Normal | Roughly equivalent to Ultra odds |
| New style | Mikage (returning Secret) | Encho (first-ever Evo, All-Rounder) | First Evo sets the template — Stretch mechanic extends hitboxes |
| Pity track count | 1 (Secret) | 2 (Secret + Evo, separate counters) | Spinning for Encho did not progress Secret pity |
Why a diff page instead of patch notes?
- Faster decision-making. You already know the game. You just want to know what changed and whether it affects your build, your spin plan, or your ranked strategy.
- Math-first. Pity thresholds, drop rates, and currency changes are surfaced as explicit numbers instead of buried in hype copy.
- Roll-up view. Three patches on one page makes it trivial to see the pity-system trajectory and the rarity-ceiling trajectory in one glance.
